Online Classes

I signed up for 6 online classes to go through this year.  So far, the 2 that I have watched have been amazing.  The videos have me wanting to be in my craft room all day long!  Oh how I wish I could be in there all day long - no interruptions, no prior commitments, just art.

I was so inspired to create
I was so revived to get back into my craft room
I was so ready to go

And I did.

I made an art journal page. 2 actually.
Paint, ink, water colours, masks, gesso, modeling paste...my fingers were all inky.  My nails are all coloured.  I have paint all over.  And it feels good!

I am excited to be back at it.

One Little Word 2014 - POSITIVE

Positive

2.  confident in opinion or assertion; fully assured  (She is positive that she will win)

3.  not speculative or theoretical; practical  (a positive approach to the problem)

4.  possessing an actual force, being, existence, etc.

 

For the past 7 years, Ali Edwards (http://www.aliedwards.com/) has shared her One Little Word. She has a great explaination on her blog about it. http://aliedwards.com/2007/01/one-little-word-3.html  She offers a class throughout the year to keep your OLW in your mind and ongoing. 

So, apparently my one little word from last year - Reduce - obviously wasn't that great for me.  The only thing I reduced it seemed, was my blogging.  LOL  I am positive that this year's word will rock!

This years mantra to follow - this will be around my house, at work on my desk and in my art.
