I am the biggest dork ever!

I just had a client come in and we were chatting and she brought up that she grew up in Canora and knew my uncle Avery and that auntie Adeline worked for her dad and grandpa at the accounting firm. We got to chatting a bit about them and the dork I am had tears flowing again.

I heard the new (to me) Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton song yesterday on my way home from work and started bawling in the car.

I dont know. It is like it is harder now to get through the day without a memory and lots of tears.

Anyway that is my news for the day.

Spoiled whiney brat...

And I just reread my entry from yesterday. I debated on deleting it all together, but why bother blogging if I cant say my true feelings at that moment.

I sounded like a whiney brat who is spoiled beyond belief, but I am not (well not really). I just dont like when people waste money. I am blessed, I am grateful, I am thankful, I am healthy (mostly), I have a place to live, I have a car to drive, I can pay my bills (although not as down as I would like) and I have food to eat.

Maybe I am spoiled. Maybe I have to have my own way all the time. Naaaaa I work in a mall and have seen spoiled rotten children (and adults) this holiday season. I am blessed to have family and friends who do not act this way! I cant even imagine hanging out with the people I have seen in the mall this year.

So very thankful - so why do I feel the way I do?

Really I am so thankful and appreciate everything that I received over the holidays but why do family members ask what I need and get a list and then not buy anything from it?

All I need/wanted was gift cards for groceries and Walmart and stores like that. It helps out so much after the holidays not to have to pay for misc items that I might need. What did I get?

**2 packages of shampoo/conditioner (which i asked them to stop giving me 3 years ago cuz I still have stuff from then!)
**5 boxes of chocolates (I was good the whole weekend and didnt eat any sweets or goodies cuz I am trying so damn hard to cut back on crap)
**a Wisp air thing (WTH?)
**a gift card to Winners (where I never shop at anymore cuz the store sucks!)
**a gift card to Chapters (where I never shop cuz it is so expensive and I can buy books at Costco for 45% off - it kills me to pay full price for a book there!)
**a blouse which doesnt fit
**a workout type of outfit thing which totally isnt me at all
**tires for my car (which I love - even though they werent on my list - cuz now I dont have to worry about buying those in the new year)

I know that there are people out there who dont have anything. I got to spend time with my family. And I am healthy and have a place to live and food to eat and a car to drive. WHY am I feeling so hurt?

I took everyones lists into consideration. I bought them things from their list (nothing that wasnt listed) and emailed/called everyone else to let them know what I bought them and to take it off the list so that they didnt get double. I feel guilty because I feel like they wasted their money on me.

I dont mean to sound ungrateful bc I am very grateful to have received anything at all.

We celebrated Ukrainian Christmas on the 24th with the traditional supper. All 12 meatless dishes. We set a place for Uncle Avery to join us in spirit. It was hard as it was only 1 short month ago that we were in Donwell. We went to the late service 11pm - candle light, but not by us. Only in the window. They are afraid that someone will burn someone else with the lit candles {insert rolling eyes here}. Next year we may try the Catholic service with Kevin's family as they get to hold candles.

On a sad note, I dont think that Jay (our puppy who is 15 years old) is gong to make it much longer. He was breathing really hard this weekend and was having trouble getting up and down the stairs. He fell a couple of years ago while running out in the field (we think he tripped in a hole) and he hasnt been the same since. His hips are super bad now. THAT will be a very sad day.

I am working all alone today. So you know not much is getting done LOL I have a list about a mile long of things to do but I have successfully wasted almost 6 hours now! hehe Back to the grind tomorrow....well not really. We have to look at the schedule cuz there was some crap that went on with that too. I cant wait to be outta here. So can not wait to say see ya later...ciao...sienara (sp?)...bu-bye! It will feel so so good!

Well I only have 1 hour left today before I get to leave and head back to Swift Current for my short Christmas holiday.

Dad and I are off to Moose Jaw tomorrow to Toyota to check out my car. He wasnt impressed with the answers that they gave me here when I had to drop about $300 for maintenance stuff. He is also getting me tires for Christmas (and this makes me very very happy - sad how non exciting my life is!).

My friend Lisa stopped by the office today with her little guys. They are twins and are oh so cute! Got to feed Alex some milk and crackers and off they went again.

Talked to my friend Linda today. She is always good for a laugh. Love her to bits. A story is never boring with her.

Had pissy clients call today. They are looking for a sell off deal to somewhere warm but their criteria doesnt work for anything. I finally found something and it wasnt cheap enough {insert eye rolling here}. I am so tired of these kind of people!

So shit hit the fan today when I came in. My manager took off early yesterday with her never ending banked hours and so whatever. On her way out she drops off the sked for Jan-Jun and asks us to pick our holidays and stuff. Whatever. First thing I notice is that she has has booked Christmas off again for next year (usually there is a rotation so everyone gets time off as we all celebrate on the 24th). Then I noticed that she booked a lot of her holidays at the same time as the other gal in the office was talking about taking off. And finally she has every long weekend off next year until October for sure. She also changed our sked to work every 2nd Sat instead of every 3rd as it is now - she put herself on only once a month and never near a long weekend.

Oh man Jan 3 is going to be so much fun to come into work and deal with this! She is on holidays until then and I am off on the 2nd. Good times.

So just another little vent. Christmas vs Xmas. Oh man does it irk me to no end to see people use the shortcut. It even bothers me to type it. I have no idea why it irks me so much, it just does. Christmas

So I want to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and all the best through the holiday season. I am off shortly. If you are travelling for the holidays please drive/fly/travel safe. Be good and dont do anything I wouldnt do, but if you do, do it well! Make me proud! haha

The countdown is on!

I think I am pretty much done EVERYTHING for the holidays! Here are the few things I have yet to do up before I leave on Thursday afternoon:

• Laundry
• Pack
• Pick up some rye and vodka for dad
• Work Wed and Thursday until 3pm
• Clean house
• Leave a note for Stinky to leave his rent before he goes (happy dance for almost 2 weeks)

Not much left eh? Pretty impressive! I started shopping in July. I bought a gift each month. I only have 5 larger gifts to buy so it isnt too bad. My cards were made back in July and I got them out early December.

This afternoon I am going to a movie with Jenna! So excited. I *heart* movies!

Tonight I am meeting with my friend Lisa. We are not sure what we are going to do yet, but we are going to hang out.

I am off today and tomorrow. Not much planned for tomorrow (but see above list lol).

Yesterday Kari, her mom, Cooper and I went to Calgary. Kari needed to go to IKEA for a few things. Well we all know my not preferred feelings of Ikea! LOL BUT I survived! We were there for a few hours by the time we got through it all. Very large. I thought it would be a zoo, but it wasnt too bad. I even found some glass jars for my ribbon or whatever else I like in them. And some snap together things that look like photo boxes. Lime green of course to match my room! I am thinking embellies, but we will see.

I am off to clean house now! Hope everyone is ready for the holiday season!

10 Things I want for Christmas...

1. Gift Cards The usable gift. Walmart, Safeway, Costco, Superstore. I am easy (haha Insert your own joke here). There are a lot of people out there that do not like getting gift cards but I love it. It gives me apx 3 months after the holidays where I dont have to pay for any misc stuff! It rocks.
2. Cell Phone I have been way too cheap to get a new pay as you go plan because of all the fees and the fact that you have to use up your minutes within a month or you lose them. Lovely. I use an average of about 2 minutes a month. I dont use my phone that often hense why I dont want to get a contract - I just dont use that much time a month. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and get one
3. Car Tires Laugh if you will. Dad asked what I wanted for Christmas and I told him gift cards but after chatting about the new tires I will need in January anyway I kinda want new tires. How nice would that be? Then I can save Ralphie's money he is handing out for fun stuff not unfun stuff lol
4. Our Family To Be Together Doesnt matter where we are or what we are doing we are always together at Christmas. It is just a holiday that is very important to us. This year it will be more so due to our recent loss.
5. Clothes When was the last time I shopped for clothing? Probably a couple of year ago! Seriously! I did buy a new top for Christmas Eve, but that doesnt count as it isnt even an entire outfit! I need new clothes. They are wearing out and looking old.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm that is all I can think of! I cant even come up with 10 things.

I am off to the Doctor about my back. Still hurting. Still killing me. My chiro thinks I should start massage therapy but I need a Dr note prescribing that anyway for insurance so I need to go but I just want to see what he will say. I dont want more pain killers I dont want more meds I just want it fixed. ugh.

I went yesterday to pick up my Hoof Quencher from Lammles yesterday. I smells very medicinal (sp??) but so far it seems ok lol

What a great day off yesterday!

Have I mentioned lately how much I *heart* days off? lol

I have a whole bunch of days I needed to take off before the end of the year. I decided to take a day here and there and yesterday was one of those days.

I got up at 830am (which, yes is a bit of a sleep in for me!), stayed in my PJs until 430pm and got lots done too! I

• Finished 5 loads of laundry
• Found my wrapping paper
• Changed my sheets
• Wrote up my cards (mind you they dont say much this year.)
• Made dinner with left overs for supper
• Made dessert for our last Scrappin 12 tomorrow night
• Got stuff ready for tomorrow night
• Went to my nail appointment at 530pm (yah, that is why I got dressed yesterday!)
• Ran to Costco after to see if they had a new Nora Roberts book in (Going Home, Coming Home, something like that lol)
• Watched Survivor and Apprentice

Whew. Yup productiove day! But oh so relaxed. AND NO phone call from the office!

Is my HOOF QUENCHER in yet????

I am getting very tired of waiting for it!

I read on my dear friend Jenna's blog about this lotion for dry cuticles. It is called Hoof Quencher. It is bought at tack shops (Lammle's here in town). She even put a disclaimer on her blog about it not being her fault if they get stormed by crazy ladies wanting it! haha

So I have tried week after week to find it there. I even had them put me on a list in their order book. She said it should be apx a week to get it in. The computer said that they had 2 in but they couldnt find it anywhere. They told me that if they couldnt find it they would special order some in for me.

WELL that was over THREE weeks ago!!! I cant believe it. I just called them and they told me that it "doesnt look like it has come in yet..." She was going to check the stock today to see if it is in but if it isnt she is going to order some more for me.

I Thank you! My cuticles Thank you! My dry hands Thank you!

Now I continue my sit and wait!!!

Now, on another note. Did you see Amazing Race last night? WOW! I so want Florida gone! I missed last weeks episode, but I read online the recap. I also by accident found a spoiler site for the apparent winner of this race. I am impatient and like to know these things ahead of time, but really that is a long time to wait to see if it is true or not! LOL Anyway I dont want to spoil it for anyone else :)

Movies

Oh how I love a good chick flick. Heck, even a bad chick flick sounds good to me! LOL

I rented a couple of movies this weekend in hopes of spending my free weekend scrapbooking. Well I didnt get to the scrapbooking, but I did get a few Christmas cards written up and ready to mail this week. I have a ton more to do, but that will be done this week.

Oh and I found out last week that Galaxy theaters is now accepting Famous Players gift certificates. This makes me so so happy cuz I have a ton of FP gcs from tour operators. I never would have used them at the FP theater here cuz they are the freakiest theater ever. I am so happy I can now go to Galaxy and see a movie in a decent theater (and not have to wait until it is at the $2 theater! lol).

And on a very happy note. Stinky the roomie is going home for the holidays! *woot* I just found out today that he is flying back to Montreal December 25 - Jan 6. Oh my day just got so much better! I am off Dec 24-26, so I will actually have a few days without him here :) So so so happy.........

Back safe and sound

Got home around 330pm today from Saskatchewan.

Uncle passed away Friday morning at 1am. The prayers were held Monday night. Over 350 people attended. The upstairs was full as was the basement. They have a screen down there that they project to if they have people down there. The funeral was yesterday and there were over 200 people. It just shows how much he was loved and treasured by friends, family and the community. I dont think there was a dry eye in the house. Even dad was crying and that just made it so much harder.

He isnt in pain anymore. I know he is in a better place. I know he is going to be watching over me and taking care of me. I know that God needed him right now for big things.

Slowly I am getting back to normal. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

Back to Sask

I was called to Regina on Friday to be with my Uncle as they moved him to ICU - he stopped breathing on Friday morning and they tubed him. It isnt looking good. We are just waiting now. I got the call on Friday afternoon at 430pm and was on a flight at 730pm. I was in Regina by 1am and spent the night at the hotel. Went to see him on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Just sat by the bed and held his hand. Couldnt do much more than that cuz of his tubes and stuff. He is so medicated with morphine to ease the pain and sedatives to calm him so he doesnt push his tubes out. It was so scary on Saturday when he would get riled up. He wanted to talk and tell us something but he couldnt bc of the tubes.

My mom and aunt had a meeting with the Drs today to get infor and make one of the biggest decisions ever.

He has cancer and the tumor is taking over his throat and pushing against his esophogus (sp?) so he needs help breathing.

It is so so so so very sad to see him this way - this is not my uncle, but I am glad I could fly there Friday night and spend the weekend with him as hard as it was. I got to hold his hand, tell him all about my trip to Cuba, tell him I am still single cuz I havent found anyone near as perfect as him and dad yet (he squeezed my hand at that - I am sure he was laughing inside).

Tony called this afternoon to tell me that they talked to the drs and they are going to take the breathing tube tonight around 9pm SK time. It just isnt fair to keep him in pain and sedated. He would hate that. I keep telling meself that God needs him right now more than we do and that he has bigger and better things planned for him. Easier said than believed. It is so hard to believe that he is going to be gone soon. I know he will be watching but I am so sad that he is going to miss my wedding and the kids that Wendy and Tony are going to have. He was more than our uncle, he was like a grandfather too since mom's dad passed away before we were born. He is such a great person that he is going to be missed so much.

Ok I have to stop. Crying some more.

I have a radio thing to give a trip away tomorrow at 730am tomorrow and then I am driving out to Sask until Wednesday forsure possibly longer.

I know I know I have been told this time and time again, but I have always felt so guilty. NOT ANYMORE!

The girls at work just pissed me off today. They ALWAYS call me on my days off. I had to come in a couple of weeks ago on my Saturday off bc my manager didnt want to deal with my corporate client having problems. So I come in and take an hour and fix it. I told her I was banking an hour for that.

Today we are figuring out hours and days off and stuff and low and behold she goes to me "I dont think we should be doing that - we all come in on our days when needed? Ummmm I call BULL SHIT! They dont. I deal with everything. All her hurricane clients.....do you think she got her ass into the office? NO I dealt with everything.

Dont make me mad. I dont forget. And I vow today on my Blog and I am not going to answer another office call at home on my days off.

Oh by the way, I am off tomorrow for a day I earned. It all starts tomorrow. I am leaving 2 files with detailed notes. How many calls do you think I will be receiving?????

Lots to say, not much time

Man what a week! I have so much to say, but not enough time to tell everything.

I am off to the Bloomin Inn for DIVA weekend. We leave tomorrow and are back on Sunday. I am teaching 2-3 make and take classes. I am so excited! I have been busy packing everything and getting stuff all ready for that. Man oh man. Crazy! I just found out last Friday that she wanted me to do this.

Hope it all goes well.

Thank goodness this week has only been 3 days. I dont think I would have been able to handle it if it was any longer. Maria and I had a blowout over files yesterday. They didnt talk to me all day! It was kinda nice, stressful, but nice! LOL They were talking to me today but whatever.

I will fill in the deets when I am back and have some time.

I just remembered...

I only have to work 3 days this week! *woot*woot*woot*

I am off Thursday as we are leaving for the Bloomin Inn around 330pm. I like to take the day ofF so that I can sleep in (it is a precious thing over the weekend!), pack, take my time, make sure the car is good, etc etc. It also gives me time to get any last minute items like snacks, drinks, etc all lined up.

The office is closed on Friday for Nov 11 and I have the weekend off to scrapbook.

I am so excited! I love short weeks. But I make up for it next week when it is 6 days in a row (blech).

A quick update from the cheap seats...

Well my weekend started yesterday with a phone call from the office at 930am. I dont even say "hello" when I answer anymore....but instead I use my ultra professional "What now?" greeting. Seriously. They call me EVERY day off. It is like they can not do anything on their own - yet I am not yet considered any sort of Senior position even though I have 9.5 years of experience now. Nice eh?

I went in for an hour to deal with things and as I walked out I told my manger "You can write down an hour into my banked time, bc I will be claiming this."

My brother came into town on Friday. We got to hang out for a bit yesterday and look at vehicles for him. I keep forgetting how boring that is. LOL Not hanging out with him, but vehicle shopping! I am so glad that my car rocks.

I went to Scrappers 12 from 6pm-12 midnight and I actually accomplished something! haha No pages, but

• I made up a cute little journal from the Donna Downey book.
• Helped Kari organize all the pages we have preplanned for her for the Bloomin Inn next weekend
• planned a layout to add to my collection (as small as it is)
• planned the make and takes Cindy wants me to help out with
• did the make and take project for last night
• decorated my gift bag for the Diva weekend
• cut out a ton of chipboard squares for the make and take
• helped another gal from the group pick out papers for her pictures (oh how I enjoy to have free reign on that lol - I so try to challenge them!)

Whew!

Today I got up early, started working my the Christmas ornament make and take we will be doing next week. Tony woke up and we went for brunch to the Guesthouse - it is $14.50 but I had a $7.50 coupon and it is SO yummy!!! Dawn showed up and we went for our walk. She brought one of her dogs to walk with us. I love dogs but this one is so crazy when it goes for a walk. Zigzags all over the place and it always is cutting me off and makes me stop short which my back does not appreciate.

This afternoon, I finished watching Coronation Street that I taped this morning. I finished up the sample ornaments (2 for sample and 2 for Kari that I told her I would help her make as a gift for a friend). I also made up the sample card for the 2nd make and take. Oh and I did up a product sheet for the make and takes. Whew.

Now I am super tired lol Might just veg tonight. Tony was supposed to look at my car but it is starting to get dark outside so I hope he will be able to tomorrow! lol

Have you ever hated your job so much you just want to squish your bosses head intot he ground and stomp on it with your foot? haha

That is where I am at right now. Oh things can not change soon enough. Not fast enough. No better enough. Sad that it only took one email with the work "No" to bring me this far down today. My brain must not be fully here.

But on positive note, only 1 week and 1 sleep until DIVA weekend at the Bloomin Inn! I have been saving my hard earned Beary Patch design team dollars for this weekend! I wont have to go into the red to pay for the weekend like I normally do! yah me! I have my outfits planned, most of my pages preplanned, my tshirt is made, my tiara is made, my pjs are bought (well one pair anyway). I cant wait to go and hang out with my friends and just be there. No worries about anything else that weekend!

What a sucky weekend for family news.

1. Talked to my sister on Friday night. She loved the "Got Balls" card I made for Fernie (he got neutered last week). I am such a smarmy auntie! She told me she almost drove off the road she was laughing so hard. That was great!

They just moved to their new house in Martinsville on Sept 24. Well they now have it up for sale cuz they are moving to Swift Current! Kevin was offered a kickass job there - how could they not? So they have had one couple go through and look at it and they had an open house yesterday. I hope it sells for them soon.

The sucky thing? Well, they ordered all brand new appliances from Sears *spit spit* and they have had NOTHING but problems with them since they were delivered! They have had a tech out twice to fix them. The customer service they have received from Sears *spit spit* has been shit. I told her yesterday to go to the store and get the department managers names, the name of the customer service manager, the store manager and the president along with emails and addresses and I would write them a letter to help them out. Oh ya, I am great with my letters. They mean business and they get results. It is a joke in the family and at work that if you want/need results you come to me. Its a gift.

2. My uncle is back in the hospital in Regina with another tumor that is cancerous. He was sent home a few weeks ago with tests that were clear but complaining with pain in his side and shoulder. Apparently he was on the floor in pain this past week and my aunt took him to emerg in Yorkton - the Dr there took one look and got on the phone to Regina saying this is ridiculous. They had a bed for him right away and they rushed him into Regina. He has been there doing extreme bouts of chemo again. They are not sure how long he is going to be there this time.

It is so scary. I hate hate hate cancer. I hate what it does to people. I hate the pain it puts them through. I hate the stress it puts family and friends through. I hate what the patients have to go through - sickness, morphine, chemo, radiation - when they have it. I wish, I hope, I dream that one day soon someone, somewhere will come up with something to combat it. SOON!

3. Gramz is at my parents place. Oh oh. They aren't sure what is going on there either. She was hospitalized in North Battleford a few weeks ago for too much weightloss. She fell and hurt her leg, had a cast and was down in the dumps. She got her cast off and lost her spunk. She stopped eating and they hospitalized her. They tested her and told her she has diabetes. They finally released her and dad brought her home to stay for a bit. We will see how long. Either she is going to be leaving on her own accord or my mom is going to divorce my dad lol. Love Gramz to bits but it is hard to have ones mother back to live with them.

4. Tony and his truck. My oh my he has trouble with vehicles. He took his truck out to this guy who specializes in fixing Nissans. The guy called him to pick it up cuz it was done and so Tony went out there. It wouldn't start. So he had to call his buddy who drove him out to come back and get him (about 30 min each way). That sucks. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

He is supposed to be coming to visit this weekend. Hopefully his truck will start so he can!

I think that is all the bad news for this weekend. Man.....I don't think I could handle anymore. If you have read this far kudos to you! Hope you remembered to turn your clocks back last night or this morning!!!! That sure throws me for a loop. Why cant all of Canada be like Saskatchewan and not change at all? It would be so much simpler!

Cleaning and laundry are on the agenda tonight. I am going to work on stuff tomorrow - scrapbooking, cards, etc. Then at 515pm I am meeting the girls from work at East Side Marios for supper. Gotta love when the office pays for supper! We made our quarter so that feels so awesome! After that we are going to my managers house to hang out. Oh joy. Feel the excitement? Ya, thats cuz there isnt any!

I like the girls I work with, they are very nice. But I am not the type of person to just hang out with them. So that is going to be an early evening! LOL

Sunday I am off for a walk around Henderson at 1pm but other than that, I think I am going to just do nothing. Well, watch movies and scrapbook. I have some ideas of things that I want to get done in the next little while here.

Bliss is the only word to describe it! I dont usually shout out to stores, but I HAVE to here!

Kari and I went to Calgary with little Cooper on Sunday for a day trip. We made plans to meet up with a couple of the gals from Scraptivity (Hi Sandi and Julie! Great to meet you!) at a new store up there.

Well once we found it (thanks in part to really helpful staff giving us directions on the phone) we arrived! It is small, but well stocked. They carry a lot of new stuff and different stuff than our LSS here. Their prices are pretty decent. BUT what makes it a totally delicious store? THE STAFF! Helpful, friendly, showing us new stuff, giving us ideas, knowledgable, offering to order ANYTHING in and able to answer questions! OMG! It was so awesome :)

After that we went to Moments. Well no shout out here. Kari was disappointed - especially since everyone raves about it here. Nothing too exciting. Tons of old stuff, no customer service and really nothing to write home about product wise. And they way they have stuff organized irks me.

ps bought the Donna Downy Journals book - holy heck! I dont buy idea books anymore, but I have so so so many ideas from this book I just cant imagine not owning it! I had to buy it!!!!! I would love to check out her photo decor and her scrapbook books too! Man! They are good.

Slooooooow

That is today in a nutshell. It has been so busy the past few Saturdays but today. Nothing.

I have had a couple of people in for brochures and 2 phone calls. That is it!

I am so super close to my new target. I reached my other one and my year (yeah! that means I will finally see commission for the past 12 months - Nov chq is going to suck with taxes!). I have set a new goal for myself to reach. I thought it would be easy with today being Saturday.

Nothing! How frustrating!!!

Anyway.....on to happier things!

I got to hang out with Jenna last night! We went to see Just Like Heaven at the Movie Mill. Its a cute movie. Kinda hoeky (sp?) in parts, but I think it may eventually find its way into my scrapbook movie collection lol. We both really wanted to see Wedding Crashers, but she was a good wife and is waiting for her husband to go with to see it. lol Maybe Monday afternoon I will head out to catch that one or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Cant go wrong for $2 matinees!

I have to say that I lead one of the most boring lives!

Well that isnt too true......I do have a few things.

1. Got to meet Vanessa from Scraptivity on Sunday for lunch in Calgary. She is so sweet! We went to Joey Tomatoes and it was pretty good. I got to see her wedding photo proofs too. Very nice!!!

2. Found out Patti's Secret Santa on Scraptivity so now I can taunt her all over the place! I know who it is! I know who it is!!!

3. Have been going to bed really early lately.....like 830-9pm! Man I need to get a life or get over this nagging feeling of a cold. Ugh. I have stuff to do! LOL

4. I am going out on Friday with Jenna to catch a movie if it all works out! So very excited. It feels like forever since we hung out.

5. Jenna ordered some albums for me and they are in! So excited. Maybe I will do up on for my sister for Christmas. Probably not though lol

I think that is all. Sorry it is lame. That is all I have tonight. Back to my Neo Citron now.

Friday *woot*

What an awesome day!

I cant believe it is Friday already, but I am so so so so so happy that it is! I have so much planned for this weekend. I am so looking forward to the weekend! This weekend is going to ROCK! I just know it hehe

1. Today is Friday
2. I do not work tomorrow
3. I am sleeping in tomorrow
4. I am going to the LSS to scrapbook/preplan pages during the day tomorrow (oh how I hope that new chick isnt there tomorrow - man oh man she royally pissed me off last night! She may just get a harshly worded letter from me!)
5. Scrappin 12 tomorrow - I get to hang out with Kari and Cooper and help her preplan pages for the Bloomin Inn
6. Sunday I am heading up to Calgary to meet an awesome chick from Scraptivity! Vanessa is flying in for work and I thought it would be awesome to meet her. Kari and Tammy might be going up with me - not sure though. We are going to have lunch.
7. After lunch I am going to go and meet up with some other friends I havent seen in like forever.
8. If there is time after that get together I am going to stop by Moments and check it out, if not that is ok cuz I will be back the following weekend lol

So I went to bed last night at 830pm. OMG was that ever needed!!!! I was/am so tired! Holy heck I crashed. Still tired this morning though. I feel a bit of a cold coming on so I went to Walmart yesterday and bought some Cold FX - going to try it and hope it works! lol We will know shortly.

That is all. Worked lots this week. Had a Cuba info night on Wednesday after hours. Thank goodness it is Friday!

Made it home safe and sound. It was so so so windy today on the drive home. It took a FULL tank of gas to get here - and it never takes more than 1/2!!!! ACK! Thank goodness the prices dropped over the weekend. LOL 3 cents, but still better than the $1.10 in Swift Current!

Cand and I went for breaky this morning before I left. It was so nice to just spend time with her and talk. We laughed about the wedding and the stories we will have to life! Man oh man. What a crazy bunch of people we are!

I survived!

I made it through the wedding yeaterday! I cant believe it. i didnt kill anyone. I didnt fall over anything. I didnt break anything. I had fun though. I got really drunk. I danced my ass off. I was being set up by Cand and Vicki with Wayne the groomsman. I got the address from some guy there to his house!

Yes you read that right - I had a good time!

Covert Operation Be Nice to Crystal didnt go. I couldnt do it. LMAO I just didnt talk to her at all for the entire time. I didnt really have to though which was nice. Made things easier.

I am going to say sorry right now - this is a blatent copy from my post on Scraptivity. I am too tired to type it out again! LOL

We danced. Oh how we danced! I think I was up there shaking my ass more than sitting at the table.

Anyway after the 1st dance, I went to the table where my parents and brother were sitting and I took off my shawl and put on my grey sweater. To my moms horror!!! She was so not happy with me but I looked at her and said do you want me to have fun tonight? cuz I wont with the shawl. So I put my sweater on and away I went. I should also add by this time I had had 4 pineapple and orange coolers and a couple of glasses of wine. I dont know what it is about my grey sweater, but it is like my Harry Potter invisable cape! I just need that olayer of protection, something to hide behind. You know how little kids have a security blanket or toy they can not live without and take everywhere with them? That is my sweater. I dont care how I looked. I dont. I was comfortable and having a good time!

So, my friend Vicki was my "date" for the night. She is just back from Europe after being away working there for a year. It wa so awesome to see her. We danced, we chatted, we caught up, we laughed, we mourned another friend getting married. We drank! They ran out of the coolers so I moved to beer - I DONT DRINK BEER! LOL

I dont know what happened, but Cand and Vic were trying to hook me up with Wayne the groomsman. He is a nice guy but 4 years younger. I know age is just a number, but there is also some maturity in that too! 4 years makes a difference! LOL Wayne and I were dancing and he was getting me more beer, whenever I went back to the table to talk with mom and dad there was more beer there.

We were out on the dancefloor for the bride and grooms dances (I knew the bride when she used to rock and roll and Im too sexy). I got some of it on my camera but I think it will be too dark. Oh well. Then for the grooms dance, Crystal was beside me and says "you go infront of him I will take the rear" so I did. Now, I dont usually do stuff like that infront of people especially with someone I dont really prefer - kwim? but I went in there and danced. Then we started stippping him hehe I got the vest, she got th suspenders, then we had to stop cuz his pants were falling down! LOL

Ok now through the night, I was running into all these people asking how I knew Tony - ummmmm he is my brother! LOL They didnt realize that he had a sister other than Wendy. Yah, apparently I was the mysterious child haha

Vicki and I went outside to cool off and get some fresh air and we ran into Troy the groom and his friend Rick. Well Rick knows Tony too so inside we go to "reintroduce" them. It was so funny.

So Rick goes and buys me another drink. We start talking and dancing. It was so funny - he is this big guy about 6'6" and muscular dancing to Grease soundtrack and SINGING too it too! Then the locomotion comes on and we start the train. Oh yah, give me a few drinks and I am game for almost everything. Then the chicken dance comes on and another friend was there with her little one (3 months) so I got to play baby whisperer last night! She was so sweet - even in my drinken state I was able to put her to sleep. I borrowed her on the dance floor and then went back to the table and I was holding her putting her to sleep and drinking beer - and my brother got the most hilarious picture of it!!!!! What a great influence eh? Start em young here in Sask we do!

We Jived, we polkaed, we two stepped, we moshed, we rocked the dance! I think that the bridal party was dancing most of the time. but we had fun.

So the Macareana (sp?) comes on and Rick runs across the hall, grabs my hand and rushes to the dance floor!! We are the only two out there and making a specticle (sp?) of ourselves cuz by this time of the night we can not even remember the stinking dance except the last part that you do the hip action before clapping and turning. LOL It was so so so funny (well maybe you had to see it - I am sure someone taped it!)

So it is about 1230am. The dance was supposed to go to until 130, but they were starting to clean up. I had to help which wasnt a big deal at all. We got everything we rented off the tables and into boxes (allbeit the incorrect ones!) i am walking up to ask Cand whatelse she needs help with and Rick comes up to me, picks me up in a huge hug, swings me around (and if you know me in person you know this is not a small feat) and palms me a piece of paper. He says "Use this after the bar. I will be there waiting" I am like "what?" He says "this is my address, I will be there after the bar" I was like "no I cant do that! I have to stick around and finish cleaning" He puts his hand under my chin and says "I will be waiting" Ok now girls............I am sure in our state, he wouldnt be. He turned and went to the bar and I continued to Cand. She was like "what was that"" I told her - we laughed. She was like "go for it" I was like I cant. Troy comes up and asks what is going on, I am dying of embarassment and Cand tells him. They are both telling me what a great guy he is blah blah blah. Trust me, I am not that kinda girl. he is a stranger.

Cand tells me to go home cuz the clean up is done less taking it outside which they have help to do. My sister is walking up the aisle and asking if I need a ride Cand tells me to go and so I left. I got home and drank about 10 glasses of water and went to sleep. Can you believe i was feeling FINE this morning! My brother was sick but not me. Up really late though. Felt so good to sleep in and not have to be up for anything! I got up around 11am had breaky and went back to sleep until about 2pm. It was lovely. I forgot some things in Cands car last night and so I ran over to their place. missed the gift opening, but really didnt need to see it. We chatted.

Troy comes into the living room and asks if I went to Ricks last night. Nope I went home to bed. I am a good girl lol He tells me that they saw him at the store this morning and asked how his night was he said ok. They asked if he remembered what he did last night and he looks at them. Smiled and said yes. I gave her my address. OMG LOL He told them to appologize to me cuz he isnt like that normally. Cant told him it is ok cuz I am usually pretty easy going most of the time. hehe They joked that next time I am in town though we would all go out together and stay sober. haha

Today was moms birthday and Thanksgiving. We had Kevin's dad and step mom over for supper. They just left. I am so tired i can barely type. Considering the amount of sleep I got last night I shouldnt be, but I have to make up for the past month or so. I cna say that I am not as mentally exhausted right now.

Tomorrow I head home. It is nice to get away but it is nice to go home too. I just had to update everyone that I survived the wdding and all in all it has been a good weekend so far.

Busy busy bee

How can it be Thursday already????

This week has flown by so fast! I can not believe that my work week is done. Well, it helps to only have worked 3 days this week! Here is my quick and someone uneventful weekly update.

1. Congrats to Jenna and her website launch. I know she is going to rock. Also, way to go on signing up for WW again. You are a way better person than I am!!! I wish I could join you.

2. Beary Patch. Oh my goodness! What a crazy 2 weeks trying to get ready for Memory Trends this weekend! We got a bunch of new chipboard stuff in - frames (all this cute, different sizes), shapes (flowers, circles, rectangles), oversized label holders (squares, rectangles and ovals). They have been so much fun to work with! BUT it has been a tons of long hours and late nights getting everything done to go out this weekend.

We were all out at Jodis last week until midnight doing up samples. Then over the weekend I spent Saturday night doing up 7 frames for the show. Tuesday I went to Luanns after work until midnight again to finish up some samples and last night we COMPLETED our stuff at Jodis at 11pm. Whew! What a crazy crazy time!

Girls - thank you again! I dont think i have laughed that hard in a long long time. Fshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hehehe

3. Wedding - got my dress last night. They left it in a heap on the living room desk, but I am past the point of caring. It is in my hands. I have to try it on this afternoon. I am kinda anxious to see if it fits. I have to give a shout out to my friend Dawn who altered it for me for free. She wouldnt take any money from me so I put some cash onto her account at the chiropractor. I had to do something!!! She saved me well over $100 in alterations!

The big day is in 2 sleeps. It is one day, one night and a great friend. I am looking past everything else. Covert op Be Best Friends to Crystal is in place. She wont know what hits her starting tomorrow at the rehersal and everywhere else! LMAO. Everyone will think I have flipped my lid, and I can blame it on the stress of work last month and the excitement of the Beary Patch new releases! hehe

4. My dads truck got stolen! OMG I called my brother last night to say hey and see what he is getting mom for her birthday on Saturday and he told me about it. He swapped trucks with my dad a couple of weeks ago so that they could move stuff for my sister (the moving weekend was Sept 24). Tony had the truck parked in front of his house in Regina as he uses the company truck on the road and has been in Kindersley for the past couple of weeks. His landlady called him on Monday to tell him it wasnt there!!!! So the cops get called, a report is filed. A message is left that it was found and had been towed to the SGI compound. No word on damage or anything. We are hoping that they totalled it and it is written off - the SGI deductable is $700 now!!! I dont believe the truck is even worth that much.

Anyway Tony is heading back to Regina tonight after work, and then has to deal with SGI and the truck tomorrow. I might be heading to Regina after my drive to Swift Current tomorrow morning to pick him up. Dad might be taking a swing through Regina on his way home from North Battleford and Saskatoon (the long way home) to pick him up. Or if the truck is drivable he may be bringing it home.

Geesh.....never a dull moment in our house!

3. Gramz. My Gramz is 81 years old. Apparently she fell and sprained her ankle really bad a couple of weeks ago. No one told me. She had to go and get it put into a cast it was so bad. Well, she has been staying with my aunt who is 85 for the past week. It is super hard on both of them. Dad is up there right now to help Gramz out. My auntie Laurie was up there the week before helping out. My uncle Wayne is coming down for holidays to help her out next week sometime.

And why wasnt I told about this?

4. Auntie Jean just got back home from having back surgery. Again, no one tells me anything! She stepped off of a stool wrong and twisted her back so bad that she had to have surgery on it! Can you imagine? She is 87 years old (and my great aunt). She was so active and stuff before and now apparently she has slowed down a lot in the past few months - even before the incident. So I have to get a Get Well thinking of you card in the mail ASAP!

Oops I have to go and get some work done here. LOL I will update somemore before I head out for the weekend if I think of anything!!!!

Oh what a beautiful morning....Oh what a wonderful day!

It is SNOWING out today! Why would I say that it is beautiful? Well that is good for work! Makes people think of getting out of dodge for holidays! He That and it isn't sticking. It is melting as it lands so it isn't like real snow lol

I went to Kari's on Saturday after work. Had a blast! Got tons done. Whew! Got home around 330am!!!

Yesterday I slept in until noon and then went for a walk around Henderson. I didn't do much yesterday afternoon though lol

Today I was up early and taped the radio ads for the week and then went to my chiro appt. I ran to the store to pick up some cardstock for tonight. I have 3 8x8 calendar pages to finish up and then I am good to go. I have set the VCR to tape 7th Heaven (gotta get my morals in each week! hehe) and Las Vegas (ahhhh sin city! LOL) tonight. I will watch them later this week.

I only have to work 3 days this week! *woot* I am off to Swift Current on Thursday night or Friday morning. Depends on the weather. I have to figure out a gift to buy my mom for her bday on Sunday. Safeway has bunches of flowers on sale this week.....maybe I will stop there on Friday before I head to their place and pick out some. Dunno yet.

It has been such a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG week this week! I am not sure why but it seemed like Friday would NEVER arrive! Maybe because I have to work tomorrow (again!). Maybe because I have been busy for the past few weeks almost every night with something going on (pretty good for a self proclaimed hermit eh?). Maybe it is because this has been one hell of a long month work wise!

I have nothing big planned this weekend. I am probably going to be at Kari's tomorrow night after work to scrapbook. I have a TON of Beary Patch Design Team stuff to work on. We have a bunch of new stuff that came in, that we have to get ready for Memory Trends next weekend. We all got together at Jodi's on Monday night until way late to work on everything and we still have stuff to do. Here's hoping my mojo comes back tomorrow at Kari's to finish everything. I have some ideas for some of the projects, so that isn't too bad. I just hope they turn out! lol

I should be getting "the dress" back on Sunday. It is almost over! I cant wait to show and tell you guys what I am going to do with it after the wedding!!!!! You have to wait until after November though :) Yup I am keeping you in suspense until then! Oh it is so so so good though hehe

Amazing Race started this week. What a sucky season. Most of it is going to be in the US. I mean that is fine and all cuz it is the family edition and little kids might not climatize (hmmm is that a word? It isn't in the spell check - mind you not a lot is! lol) to jetlag as well as adults but it sucks too - the travelling to different countries is WHY I WATCH! Supposedly they are coming up to Canada and going down to Costa Rica. Whoopdedoo! Oh well. I am in a pool with two teams. The Blacks and the Paolos. Feel sorry for me, please. The Blacks - a very sweet family with 2 little boys were eliminated in the 1st round. The other family is Italian and loud and obnoxious - I do not prefer them already! The family I hope wins (and I cant remember their names right now) are the ones with the little girl and boy. They are the runners. I hope they win!

S-A-TUR-DAY! Hey

Ok it isn't Saturday, it is Tuesday, but I wish it were Saturday. That would mean my long week of work was over. Blech it is a 6 day week this week. I am drained. I am tapped. I am mentally tired. I am done.

I am sad. I went to hook up the cable in my room tonight and it doesn't work. I guess the cable in there is for the internet, not the cable cable. But I did get my VCR hooked up. However it isn't the same. I still have to share the cable downstairs with Roomie Football Watcher. Oh well, it could be worse. I could live with Crystal *spit*

I got next Friday off! *woot* I was supposed to work it, but my manager said today that I could use a vacation day and take it and she would call in the casual part time girl. I am so excited to only have to work 3 days next week! LOL

I am making Sweet and Sour Chicken for the domestically challenged for supper. I love this. It is so so simple. And tastes so so good. I guess I should go through the chicken in the sink under hot water to defrost eh? Whatever. LOL Apparently if I don't get to it today it will be here tomorrow.

I was out at Jodi's last night working with the Beary Patch girls on design team stuff. Whew.....Got home and in bed after 1am!!!!! We worked with a bunch of the new product and have a bunch more to do before Memory Trends next weekend! EEEEKKKKK! I had better rent some great chick flicks for my days off ! I have lots to do lol We had a blast though! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I really needed it! It feels so so so good to let out a belly laugh like that! One that when you look at someone else laughing you start all over again. One that your cheeks hurt and your tummy hurts from laughing so hard. Thanks girls! It rocked!

I am so excited. This is my 1st weekend off in a month. I have to work next weekend again. I am so blah. I am tired, I am exhausted, I have lost my scrapbooking mojo *sob* and I just need to get out of dodge for awhile. Away from the mall. Away from everything.

So tonight I am going to Medicine Hat to visit a friend. Hopefully we have a good time.

Saturday, I get to babysit for Kari. Yup little Coop, Jaycee, Emma and I will be hangin out! I hope it is her niece Emma and not her step daughter to be! EEEEEEK! I shoulda asked! LOL

Work has been crazy this week. I have essentially been alone. Ya Deb has been in for a few hours to cover lunch, but really what is that? She doesnt do much cuz she doesnt need to see the sales. Holy crap what a week. I am drained.

I get to do a dress fitting on Sunday for the dress from hell.

Less than 7 weeks until the Bloomin Inn! I cant wait.

Oh and some good news this week. Ol' Ralphie is giving us Albertians $400 cuz we have a $7 billion surplus in some gas fund. Nice! I am going to be honest. Alrighty! Here you go! I have nothing to say, nothing to update, nothing to share! I feel so bad. But I have received a few emails to update. I will try to pull something exciting from the past few days. If I cant I will make it up :) just kidding.

1. I am now not just the Taunting Fairy at Scraptivity, I am the Enabler. Ohhhhhh doesn't that just sound mean? LOL It isn't. Well not to me. It may be to other people. I am taunting them with new products and offering to buy it for them! hehe We have a pretty good scrapbook store here. I wont say it is awesome or amazing, cuz there is lots of stuff that I would like to see. I understand they cant bring in everything out there, but it would be nice to have a full like of cool new stuff instead of boring old stuff. KWIM? But they are pretty good with keeping up on stuff. At least it doesn't suck ass like the Regina store that I had to torture myself to go in when I lived there.

2. My friend from Medicine Hat was supposed to come to visit this past weekend. I booked a room at a hotel so that we could go swimming, watch movies, hang out and chat like the good ol days. The room was $20 no big deal. It is better than competing with Footfall (have I mentioned that I hate football lately?) and the roomie in the livingroom. She was supposed to be in town on Sunday. Well 1030pm on Saturday night I get an email from her saying that she isn't coming out to Lethbridge. Fine. Thank goodness I was able to cancel the room!

Now she wants me to come out to Medicine Hat to visit her. Problem is that she has the tiniest bachelor suite ever. I mean tiny - like too small for one person, let alone guests! It reminds me of my sister's dorm room at U of M in Winnipeg! LOL So I am looking to see if I can find a hotel room there. I dont think they have heard of Travel Agent Rates! Man, is it expensive there!!! So now I have to think this over some more.

3. Kari stopped by with her proof sheet of Coopers pictures yesterday that Jenna took. OMG! These pictures are amazing! Her ability to take photos and foresee shots/poses is amazing! She sees shots that are incredible. I tell ya. When she gets her portfolio done and her website up and running, I will have it posted here so you all can see how wickedly talented she is!!!! I cant wait to share with you!!!

4. My manager is away at meetings for the rest of the week. Know what that means? While the cat is away this mouse will play! hehe We have our casual part time girl coming in to help out over lunch but the rest of the time is for me *woot* I have tons of work to do and get done but it means that I can check out my hotmail, scrapbooking boards, etc. Oh I am just the model employee eh?

5. Westjet announced yesterday that they are flying to Honolulu and Maui starting in December. I have a free ticket with them.......hmph too bad it expires Dec 10. And free my ass. I have to pay the taxes on it - which I understand, but they are making me pay the GST on the full cost of the ticket which doesn't sit right with me. If the base fare is $0 then I should only have to pay GST on the taxes. I might just let the ticket slide. I haven't decided yet.

OR I might use it to fly out to Toronto to visit Patti from Scraptivity! What a hoot that would be! She is freakin hilarious! I am sure we could get into lots of trouble out there!!!!

6. Now I have to get back to work. I have inquires to do.....People wanting to get away over Feb break and some of it is sold out already! hehe

7. Just one more. Last day of summer! I am so excited to see fall here and the cooler weather. I am hoping for a snowy, cold winter to get people travelling!

Five for Friday

It is dreary, raining and kinda fall like outside today. It is an all around blah day. Not sure why but I am kinda feeling ehhhhh.

So in response to that, and so that I don't bore you to tears with the nothing that has happened today at all, I am going to do a list of Five things I like about myself (ha thanks Jenna for the lists you do! Although I cant think of 10...So I went with 5, plus 5 and Friday sound good together lol). Now, this is uber hard! I can list a TON of things I do not prefer about myself, but to find a list of things I like? Man.......

So here I go. I am digging down deep for these....

1. Loyal - I am loyal to the end. I pick my friends and I stick with them. I have lots of acquaintances but only a few close people that I call friends. I can be treated like crap and I will still stand. Look at my work situation. How long can a person keep going like this?

2. Smile - I love my smile. When I am truly happy, you will see me smile. It wont be that forced I have to smile to make you think I like you smile. It will be a full fledged smile. I would love to get braces to make it even better, but hey I like what I have.

3. Smart - I am so smart, SMRT. I love that line by Homer Simpson! That is a great episode. However, I do think I am pretty smart for my areas of knowledge - travel and scrapbooking. Are there things I don't know? You bet! But I will find them out somehow. I love to learn more about my hobbies and take classes, search online, experiment, etc to gain that knowledge. Granted, there are tons of areas I have no knowledge in whatsoever (ummm cars, camping, fire starting, BBQing, engineering, etc),, but I don't need the extra knowledge there lol. I have basic knowledge that I need to get on with my day in some areas and excel in others.

4. Baby Whisperer - haha I love holding other peoples babies and putting them to sleep. I just have a knack. I think it is the boobs. Really. They just curl up around them. I am also a very warm person so they just get comfy and fall asleep! My favourite thing to do is to take a crying baby from a frazzled friend and calm them down :) Makes my day and the moms and everyone is happy. Nope, I don't want kids of my own. Too much pain and responsibility, but man do I love others kids!

5. Funny - yes, I think I am funny. When I am around the right people and feel comfortable enough around them, I will come out of my shell and make jokes and laugh the time away. There have been so many jokes with Kari that we have lost count. It is important to laugh. Not a fake haha laugh, but a deep gut wrenching fall out of your chair laugh. It is even better if you have tears running down your face and you just cant stop!


ETA - Sat morning and thank you Jenna for pointing out my spelling error It is now fixed and I can go on with my day without thinking that I am an abuser of babies! LOL Funny that spell check didn't even catch that!

Its Thursday Already?

How can that be? Seriously!

Where are my days, weeks, months going? I tell ya, before I know it, it will be Christmas and then 2006!

2 months today until we go to the Bloomin Inn for our Diva Weekend! This is going to be so stinking fun!!! We are getting foam crowns from Michaels and decorating them - there is going to be a contest. I am going to also try to find a boa after Halloween (thank you Kari for this idea!) when everything is on sale and clearance to wear. I found the best PJs that say Dynomite DIVA on them but they didnt fit so I had to return them. Fat girl in polkadots is not a pretty site lol We are going to be doing a bunch of challenges between us there too. If you have any ideas, please feel free to share!!!

Stupid client alert! They are back. Man they are the biggest PITAs I have ever known. We booked their flights forever ago and when we booked I asked about seating....now they are are coming back to me to get it and are mad that I cant get anything decent for them. Whatever I booked what I could back then. Sorry it isnt up to your expectations but the plane I built specifically for you only offers crumby seats. Man I have to tell myself daily that I like my job!

I have to work this Saturday again. But I am off on Monday. I cant wait to sleep in! Lounge around! Do nothing! hehe I am so bad. I have a whole long list of things that should be done and I always find other things to do.

I used to be so so so diligent (sp?) and good with to do lists. Now, I suck. It is like budgeting. What happened to me???? I GOT LAZY! I need a kick in the ass. Preferably one that will put my back into place again. lol

I was checking out my friend Jennas blog today and she has a top 10 list that she gets from another blog. I so love this idea. So next time I dont have anything exciting to share I am going to do that. Watch, it is going to happen more often than not cuz I lead a boring life (thank you to those who think it is exciting, but it really isnt....I sugar coat it lol - just kidding!)

Just Another Manic Monday.....

HA! Now I bet you have that song in your head dontcha? hehe

I had an ok day at work - all things considered. I had to work alone today since it was my managers day off for Saturday. I am taking Wednesday off this week for working Saturday at the Radio Remote.

Speaking of the remote - I rocked! LOL I had such a good time with the radio guys!!! They are so funny and easy to talk to. It sure makes it feel natural to talk to them. We had 10 cut ins and I was in all of them. They have this guy who calls in to teach them Spanish and he stopped by to say hi to them. Well we were all joking just before we cut in and I was saying how I had to learn how to say that I am looking for a single man with 2 eyebrows and a high paying job......wouldnt you know it that they put that on air! LMAO I could hardly speak I was laughing SO hard! We had fun!

Anyway there were quite a few calls today about the group. That kept me busy. There were clients of my coworkers in to get information. That kept me very busy. There was paperwork to do. That kept me busy. There was an angry client cuz his ticket isnt in yet. That I just brushed off lol

Before I knew it, it was 530pm and time to go home. I finally had time to grab something to eat at 4pm - that was my day.

I made an appt with the chiro again after work. Thank goodness insurance pays for the visits!!!! She cracked me good. I was having troubles sitting today. I would be ok and then out of nowhere a sharp burning pinching pain would be in my left lower back. Ouch! So she cracked me, we did some stretches and she told me I was doing good with mine, but added a few more. Then I came home.

Did I forget to mention that Football is not allowed to be watching in my house unless it is the Saskatchewan Roughriders and only then if they are in the playoffs for the Greycup? OH I must have! If I have a beef with my roommate, it is that he watches football nonstop all day and night on Sundays and all night on Mondays. PUKE I detest football.

But I wont say anything, I am just not that type of person. I am just going to go buy a cable for my room if I get really pissed then I can watch whatever I want there! haha

That is about all. I should go get some stuff ready to mail. I have some RAKs to go into the mail and a page I did for someone else as a swap. She doesnt know it yet. Hope she likes it!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh how I love pictures of babies. Especially cute babies!

Here is Cooper! 9 days old at our Scrappin 12 Club last month. Kari was holding him and I borrowed her camera and started playing around with the zoom and the flash and got some really cool photos (if I do say so myself! hehe). I did also get a lot that she deleted, but that is all the fun with a digital camera! Gotta love them!

My Friday Update!

Dudes, I have nothing really to say! I have such a boring life.

The radio thing is going good. I sound like a complete and utter DORK though. I swear, I hope I dont sound that stupid to other people. I have found out that the word I say a lot on the air is EXACTLY. Gotta change that! I am back onair tomorrow with the Live Remote we are having with Rock 106. Should be fun! I love it. I think I have found what I want to be when I grow up. Too bad that it isnt a popular thing here in town and that I would probably have to move to get into the business which Kari wont allow.

My friend Jenna (see her blog) is a photo taking machine! She is posting some of her shots on her blog. They are so AMAZING! I cant wait to get married so that she can be my photographer :) Dudes, this girl rocks. Watch out photography world! She had got an eye!

My back is stil killing me. I am not sure what my chiro was smoking yesterday when she said one more and it should all be good. Whatever! I wouldnt know it today!!! ugh.

I have to mail a birthday card to my friend. Her bday is Sept 5 and for the life of me, my brain always blocks it out and puts it on the Oct 5th. Not sure why. Must be something with that date. lol

A new week begins...

Alright, well it is Tuesday but to me it is like a new week.

I am off today for working this past Saturday. I got into the chiro right away this morning. Lots and lots of cracking and stretching but I am a bit better. I go back on Thursday for another session lol Here is hoping that the pelvic bone wont go out of whack again :) I am supposed to keep the icepacs on to keep the inflamation down if it bugs me.

Went to Safeway this morning for groceries. It is 15% off today. Man I love the 15% off, but their produce sucks. Seriously, the selection was crap and the prices are high. If I had time I would have gone to Superstore for the produce, but I wasnt really thinking that out all that well. I didnt even really buy all that much but they have Javex, toilet paper and some other stuff on sale that I picked up. I think I am going to start just going and picking up a little at a time each week. I will pick up meat and stuff I can freeze when it is on sale but the other stuff I dont mind getting each week.

Tonight I am off for my walk with Dawn. It will be a bit slow going but atleast I will be out and about. Should be a gong show trying to get my shoes on though lol

Tomorrow morning I am going to be on the radio with Rock 106! *woot* We have a group going to Mexico with them in January and the morning guys Fraser and Rosie want to talk to someone from the office. Well since I am the offical radio gal (I think that is what I want to do when I grow up hehe) of the office Monika asked me to call them at 7am to tape the spot. Doesnt bother me. I have to get up for the ACV product launch at 8am anyway. Should be a good time. I cant wait!

We have a live remote with them on Saturday too. Pisses me off cuz it is my day off, but I get to the be the onradio person there too! I am excited for that.

Well I have to get to an appointment so I have to cut this short. If anything exciting happens I will update tonight. If not, that is all from the cheap seats! :)

An update from me

It has been a few days. Lets see....What can I tell ya?

Friday after work I came home. My back was really bugging me. It started on Thursday but it wasn't too bad.. Friday was painful. By the time I got home I was in tears.

Saturday morning I called my chiro 1st thing. I wanted to get in before I had to go to work. They were closed - until TUESDAY! So I went to work. Took my shoes off and walked around barefoot, that helped a little bit. But the sitting killed me. I would stand for a bit and that killed me. Finally the end of the day rolled around and I was ready to get home. I got my icepacs out of the freezer and applied them.

It isn't my back perse. It is actually my pelvic bone that is out. That means that EVERYTHING is compensating for it. My muscles and the rest of the spine is all sore and hurting to make up for that bad boy. One bone. Who knew?

I can not wait to get up tomorrow and call to make an emergency appointment! I hope they can get me in.......I need this fixed!!!

Other than that I haven't done much. Icepacs, robaxacet and advil are my friends this weekend. It is hard to type when one is squatting infront of the computer since I cant sit for too long.

What a wonderful freaking long weekend. So much for my plans to scrapbook! That is what pisses me off the most. I love to scrapbook on long weekends. Rent movies, eat crap and scrapbook. That is the perfect long weekend for me. Not this time. Bed, rest and icepacs. Blech.

So on to better things.

Wendy and Kevin had their 1st anniversary yesterday. They went to the lake with mom, dad, Tony and Gramz. They said the weather was beautiful, the water was nice and the boat was out. They had a great time. They decided to only stay one night though cuz it was full there and they had to get home to paint the boards for the fence on their new house. They got possession on the 1st. So they are busy getting the fence and yard in for Fernie so he has a place to run around in lol

I gave myself a French Manicure yesterday. Wasn't much else I could do lol. I found this kit that Jackie (old roomie in Calgary) gave me when I moved. I haven't used it or thought of it in years. Then last night I was looking for something in the bathroom cupboard. I found the kit and thought why not? So I have these nails now. I think next time I break into that box I would use a clear top boat as opposed to the nude one they give in there - it kinda tints the whites yellowish. Some of the whites are at an angle. Some are not straight at all. Oh well it was my 1st time :) It was fun to be girly girl for a few hours.

Kari is going to Moments up in Calgary this afternoon. I am green with envy! She just called for directions. It is a fun little store. Cant wait to hear what she thought or bought. They carry a lot of the same stuff that Scrapbookers does, but they carry the FULL lines of it. They wont pick and choose certain things. I understand both points of view. hmmmm I should have told her to pick up some stuff....ahhh I don't know what they have right now lol. Will have to go up there one weekend to see for myself.
