Transformation

I don't make resolutions for the new year. Instead, I pick a word that I want to represent what I want to follow for the year.  You can read up on One Little Word and get more information on Ali Edwards' Blog.

My word for 2016 is TRANSFORMATION (or transform). It is going to be a big, awesome year of them. I want to transform my place into somewhere I actually enjoy being. I want to transform myself to be more comfortable. I want to transform my way of thinking when it comes to my work situation.

trans-for-ma-tion [trans-fer-mey-shuh n] ...
1. the act or process of transforming.
2. the state of being transformed.
3. change in form, appearance, nature, or character.

trans-form [verb trans-fawrm; noun trans-fawrm]
1. to change in form, appearance, or structure; metamorphose.
2. to change in condition, nature, or character; convert.
3. to change into another substance; transmute.
4. to change the form of (a figure, expression, etc.) without in general changing the value.
5. to change into another form of energy.

Like a butterfly from a cocoon, I will transform.  This will be my year.

Day 6 happy

My parents came to visit.  Mom sewed up my pants that I ripped a little hole in when Rob and I went geocaching a few weeks ago.  It makes me happy to hang out with them.  No picture today but happy moments and happy memories.

On that note, I will be away from my computer for a week.  I will be taking a ton of photos over that week so I will post my happy pictures when I get back.  I probably wont have access to decent internet.

Day 5 happy

Nail appointment today.  Nice and simple. (excuse the bruise. I whapped it pretty good the other day. Still hurts after 2 weeks!)

Day 4 happy

Happy and powerful is how I feel when I wear my red heels.  Laura made me buy them when I bought my dress in January for our Sales and Service award dinner.  I had the opportunity to wear them again on formal night on our cruise in April and will again next week as well.  Yes, I have to practice walking in them a lot.  It is a powerful feeling to walk around the house, do dishes, clean while wearing them and practicing in them  ;)  Try it one day.  Trust me.

Day 3 happy

Today's happy is brought to you by FRUIT!  So simple.  After 4 weeks on a cleanse  with my nutritionist, I am finally able to have limited fruit (berries or green apples) a couple of times a week.  After craving it for 4 weeks, now that I am able to have some, its not a craving anymore!  Wonder if that will work on any other food?  LOL

Day 2 happy

I've tried multiple times to upload a picture of today's happy to no avail.  I will keep trying.  It might not be tonight though.

Today's happy is my empty suitcase on my bed....means another trip is on the horizon!  :)    Cant wait!

ETA - finally able to get my picture to load
