I am off to Swift Current in the morning after an appointment. I have to stop in Taber too along the way to get my glasses reframed. That should only take about 10 min they tell me.

I should be back Saturday or Sunday.

I cant wait to celebrate Keelys first Christmas! She is 11 months tomorrow. I cant believe how fast the year has gone. They are going to be at the candle light service with us tomorrow night at Church - it will be fun to have Keely there. She is at a great age!

Tomorrow we celebrate Ukr Christmas Eve with the 12 meatless dishes. We all cant be home on Jan 6 so we celebrate ont he 24th now. On the 25th Wendy and Kevin will be doing early morning with his family and then coming over to mom and dads for the rest of the day. More Keely time for Auntie Mel!

Everything is wrapped, everything is packed and ready to go into the car in the morning. I have a sleeping bag in there. I am taking my parka and extra warm clothes.....brrr it has been cold lately but is supposed to be warmer (only =10C haha) which will be nicer to drive in.

I do have a few more things to finish up tonight....dishes, cleaning out the fridge, getting the garbage out lol you know, those fun must do before you go away things.

Oh, and my friend Lisa and I are off to New York City in August! Her cousin is going down to visit a friend and Lisa was going to tag along. She asked me to go along and I agreed! My friends and I were supposed to go last Sept but we ended up on our cruise instead :) I am excited to see the sights and sounds of the big city lol If you have been there and know of anything I must see/do let me know!

Its OFFICIAL! I did it!

What did I do? Made MILLIONAIRE at work! I am so excited! We have a quota every month, and there is a Millionaire or Award of Excellence in the company that if you excel through out the year on your quota you get recognized the following year - a free trip with the company and sent to Edmonton for a weekend for an awards dinner at the Hotel McDonald. I am the FIRST International agent to make it from Lethbridge! So excited! A lot of long hours. A lot of hard work. A lot of dealing with files and stuff, but I cant wait!

I cant believe Christmas is in 2 weeks! I am so glad I was done shopping in May - yes, May. I dont like crowds and find it very difficult to shop this time of year. I unfortunately need to go to the mall tomorrow night after work. I have been trying to get there all week, but when I cant find a parking spot, I know there will be too many people there.

i am starting to work on my Ireland scrapbook pages. Cant wait until those are done. Got a new program - Memory Mixer. It is a very cool way to do smaller photos and resize things the way I need. I like. I just need to play around with it more and get used to it and its abilities.

Got a new computer a couple of weeks ago too. Never buy a Dell. Lasted a year and a half. My old HP lasted me over 7 years plus mom and dad have had it for almost 2 years now and it is still kicking! I will probably take the Dell to them - without all the programs I have on it, it is fine. But the photo programs, itunes, etc really slowed it down and didnt allow me to use more than one thing at a time........very frustrating! I got a triple core, 4 gig and a 24" monitor......yum! However, it has Vista which isnt compatible with my scanner.......boooo

Didnt get tickets for tonight

So sad. Carrie Underwood is in town tonight. I missed out on presale as I didnt hear she was coming until the night before tickets went on sale to the public. By the time I tried for tickets (too busy during the day at work) they were sold out! So sad. We even tried to win tickets, with no luck.

Oh well. Wasnt meant to be.

Had a good weekend. Everyone came to visit. We went to late night shopping on Friday. Stopped by tthe store and saw Kari for a few minutes. Went to Costco and the Bay on Saturday. That night mom and dad went to Kenny Rogers. We tried to take K to see Santa for the first time, but the line was so long - all the way down to Winners. We will try again when they are here in a few weeks! Sunday they went driving around looking at houses and I rant to Costco to pick up a couple of things they wanted more of. They left around 130 and I put my house back into order! LOL

Less than 2 weeks until the Calgary girls crop here! Cant wait. We always have so much fun. I have to get my butt moving and order Ireland photos so I know what I still need from linda.

I need to find a Phylo pastry recipe. All the cooking shows today have used it. It intreagues (sp?) me! LOL

I need a smile today

I took this photo of K-bear when they were here a couple of weeks ago for the weekend. I bought her this onsie months ago (they only had the larger sizes left) specifically for a layout lol) ADORABLE!

That is me this Halloween again! lol

I am going after work to have supper out by myself and then to a movie. Which one? Dunno yet. Nick and Noras Infinate Play List or the one with Richard Gere and Diane something or other lol It will be a snap decision tonight at the theater.

Why do I do this you are asking? Over the past few years it has mainly been teens and adults coming around for candy - without any costumes on. Argh. Now, dont get me wrong. If they dress up and put in effort, I totally dont mind giving stuff out.......but dont just grab a pillow case and expect stuff.

Sadly, we cancelled Great Falls for next weekend. While we were on our cruise, the dollar dropped and it is now about 1.33 ugh. So instead of spending $4-500 on hotel, meals, shopping I dont need to do lol I am staying home. I am going to scrapbook at the store and hopefully get some things done. Linda may come down for the weekend too if there werent other plans made when they found out she wasnt going lol We will see.

Other than that not much going on at all. That is all from the cheap seats.

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving! I didnt make it home for turkey this weekend as I just got home from vacation, but I am still so very thankful.

1. Thankful for FAMILY who is always there for me - to talk to, to listen, to help, to laugh with, to be with. We are very close and they always come first in my life. Always there for eachother, taking care of and helping out where we can and need to.

2. Thankful for FRIENDS who get me through things. We laugh, we cry, we laugh some more. They are always there to listen and help too. My mom says I am so lucky to have the friends I do in my life and I agree.

3. Thankful for TRAVEL - to be able to see the world, learn about different cultures, try different things. It is amazing to me that there are so many opportunities out there to see.

4. Thankful for K-bear. She brings a smile to my face.

5. Thankful for my SIGHT, as bad as it is. I can still see. I am taking every opportunity to do things now, because you never know.

6. Thankful for HOME. I love my place. It is so comfortable. Home is also my parent's place is Swift. Home is wherever I need it to be and I am thankful I have that option.

7. Thankful for SCRAPBOOKING. It has introduced me to so many of my closest friends. It gives me an outlet to de-stress, be creative, have fun. I like to think I am good at it too. It allows me to try new things, recall wonderful memories, creativly display photos and things that have happened.

I wish everyone a very wonderful Thanksgiving, good food and good times with family and friends or whoever you are sharing it with.

Ok, seriously, almost a month?

Wow, I must be the world's worst blogger. Not that anyone but me reads this lol (prove me wrong!)

The truth is, I havent got much to talk about.

Working tons. It sucks being short staffed. Lots of late, late hours and now it is tour operator pesentaion time so it is even longer hours and late nights with their suppers/presentations where they go over their products and brochures.

My BIL is here. It has been 4 weeks now I guess. It is nice to have someone here but I am too set in my ways and have my routines that I dont like being messed up. Plus, he is always watching football.....ugh lol Oh well, glad I can help them out.

K-bear and my sister were here this weekend visiting. It was fun to spoil them and buy K-bear tons of stuff from Please Mom and Sears that were 40-70% off. Oh ya, it was fun. And then Wendy and I got out and did a bit of shopping as well. That was fun.

The weightloss thing is sucking ass. It has been the most expensive 15lb I have ever lost. I am very disappointed. I was hoping that this system would help me get over that block that I have had with every other attept in the past. Not so. We are trying to figure it out, but no luck yet.

Hicksville

I tell ya.
I thought it was done.
I thought I was over the neighbour issues.

I get home from work yesterday to the new neighbours moving in to the unit next door. They are an "older" couple about 50-60. I am working away on the computer last night trying to get stuff downloaded from my camera and I am hearing voices.....loud voices.....they sound like they are right under my balcony outside.

I peek out. Holy crap. They have a freaking patio set - chairs, table, umbrella - set up in the front yard. MY yard. WTF? Seriously?!?!?!? So I dont say anything last night bc I didnt want to blow a gasket.

I see them today as I was coming home from work. They say "Hi Im your new neighbour" I say hi and ask about the year. Apparently they get half? I have to double check with my landlord. I was under the assumption that they had the side yard as theirs.

Seriously, it looks like freakin' hicksville with that table there.

Oh and with the wind we have here.......that thing blows and hits Yoda, they will be dealing with the wrath of Mel....not a pretty thing.

Ok that is my vent.

I love long weekends! I cleaned house last night. Kevin headed back to Swift Current for the weekend. I worked today and wasted driving around looking for cheap gas...it went from 127.9 to 133.9 Crap. So I was going to fill up last night but didnt. Now I have to wait and hope it goes back down after the weekend. If not i have to bite the bullet and fill 'er up.

On the weightloss front I have been doing really well the past few weeks. I was going down every weigh in a bit at a time. I go this morning nad go up 4lb Crap. So I am going to continue my nightly treadmill for 35-45 min and see what happens. I have my meals planned. I am going to go grocery shopping Monday morning and then cook all day.

Tonight and tomorrow I am scrapbooking and watching movies. I rented Sydney White which is pretty cute. Loosely based on the Snow White story. It was slim pickin' at the store with things I havent seen/own already lol

I have the CUTEST 6 mth photos of K-bear. As soon as I make them smaller I will load them here for you to see. She is getting so big!!!!

So......I have some news!

Hello baby!

that is what I will be saying to K-bear soon! My sister and BIL are moving to Lethbridge!!!!!!!!!!!! He took an awesome job opportunity here and started his training this past Monday up in Edmonton. He starts here next Monday and will stay with me for a bit until he can find something.

They are thinking they are going to rent for a bit and then either build or buy depending on the market.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!

My awesome friend Lisa is going to get them set up with the mom and tot club she belongs to that they can meet other kids and families. I cant wait to start hanging out and doing stuff with them.

I am also taking a week off work! I cant believe it. I cant believe how guilty I felt asking for time off. I earned it. But I still feel guilty. I dont have anything planned. I am going to sit and veg and do nothing lol

Kari and I are taking her kids and meeting up with Linda and Laura on Monday at Heritage Park up in Calgary. Oh that reminds me I need to charge my camera batteries! I dont need them dying on me again! LOL I did some research on ghosts there....apparently there are 3 haunted buildings so that will be fun to check out.

Oh and I got an IPOD shuffle last weekend! I got it from work. They wanted to thank me for all of my long hours, hard work and my goal to be a millionaire agent. I am so excited! Now to figure out how to download songs and get them on there to listen to!

So that is my update of late. I have been working lots and trying to keep up with my weightloss goal. It isnt going so well currently but I am still trying. Keep sending possitive thoughts.

I *heart* long weekends

So my friends came down from Calgary on Friday afternoon to scrapbook for the weekend. We always have such an awesome time when we get together. Laughter is the major part of our weekend. I am so thankful every single day for my friends. My mom always tells me I am so lucky to have such amazing friends in my life. I agree :)

I took the afternoon off of work of Friday (I know, I know *shocking*) and met them at Karis store. Those few extra hours in the day make the weekend see so much longer and progress so much more lol I got so much done - I finished my Sept DT kit, calendar kit samples, 2 double page layouts, and a few other things. It was awesome! I even got a few other layouts planned out but noticed that I need to reprint some photos in smaller sizes and other photos all together. (what was I smoking when I ordered the 1st ones? LOL)

We scrapbooked until about 1am on Friday night. Laura had just returned home from italy a couple of days before so she was a bit tired. We slept in a bit on Saturday and then headed out to Costco for photos, I went and weighted in (down 0.6!), ran to Safeway cuz Linda had a bonus airmile coupon, to Shoppers to pick up some face cream for Linda and to the other LSS so they could drop off a transfer. We then went to Home Hardware on the west side.

OMG that store is AMAZING! AAAAAAAAAAMAZING. They have these little nooks on one side of the store and each one is painted a different colour and then decorated with coordinating items. It is so freakin awesome. I found LIME GREEN and CHOCOLATE BROWN flowers to match my livingroom. I found LIME GREEN stones for a vase and some other cool lime green and chocolate brown things. They also have this room that is light baby blue (but not a powder blue but a more greyish/brown tone a new baby blue) with silver and chocolate brown. OMG that was so amazng too! Cant wait to take momma bear there when she comes to visit next!!!! I cant wait for my insurance chq to come in this week so I can go buy my flowers! LOL And they take Aeroplan = which I didnt have with me when Linda was buying all of her stuff but oh well I will pick some up when I do.

We went ot see Momma Mia last night. So not my type of movie, but I enjoy ABBA songs. I so didnt like the actors singing blah........oh well. Lisa and I are going to Step Brothers on Wednesday so that will be cool. More my speed lol I am not mature enough for coffee or musicals hahaha

We scrapbooked the night away again and got home around 2am and then back there this morning by 10am. Laura had to leave early, she was on her way around noon and Linda left around 3 so we had a great weekend together.

I love that I have this afternoon, evening and tomorrow still to get stuff done. I want to clean house a bit. I have to plan my meals and make a grocery list and then I have to go grocery shopping. My goal is to try a different and new recipe from the LA Weightloss cookbook every week. Something I normally wouldnt eat ever. The nice thing is that *most* of the recipes are single servicngs or at most 2 so that isnt too bad. I did make the Sweet Potato Salad last weekend which was 12 servings but oh was it good! Even Linda and Laura approved it lol (and shocked that I actually made it haha)

Mom and dad were here on Wednesday for the night. They came to pick up the truck that dad bought. It is really nice - big, silver and will totally tow the boat lol It is a nice smooth ride too. They dropped me off on Thursday after lunch. They went to the lake this weekend = all of them including my little Keely-bear and Deamon Dog. Hopefully Wendy gets some good photos. I asked her to take some this weekend so I can scrapbook them.

Where have I been?

No where exciting. sorry!

Crazy busy at work. Insanely busy. Long hours and late days.

Went home last weekend for K-bear's baptism. She was a total doll. Slept for the beginning of the service and woke up just in time for the baptism. She watched the crowded church in her oh so serious face. She didnt cry at all. It was a great message last week. After, everyone came to mom and dads for lunch. It was so yummy (as were the left overs I brought home with me lol)

Dad and Tony were here last Friday to pick up the boat on Saturday and then we all drove back together after I was done work. On Sunday after everyone left the house, they took it out to test it and IT DIDNT WORK! Oh, I have only seen my dad that mad a few times in my life. Tony wrote them an email and dad was on the road on Monday by 4am to be back in Nanton with it. I wouldnt have wanted to be those guys at the boat dealership that morning! Dad spent the night here and took my car in for an oil change, did some running around and we went out for lunch together then he headed back to Swift Current.

Friends came down on Friday for some scrapbooking at the store. I met them there after work and we stayed late into the morning. We were back there early Saturday. They had to leave early afternoon so we wanted to get as much time scrapbooking as possible. I got my August DT kit done and finished off some layouts from my San Fran trip. I was on a roll, so when they left, I stayed at the store and continued on until about 430pm.

I was in bed early last night and got over 12 hours of sleep.......oh I needed that! Feel good today. Going to finish organizing = which I started last night (ugh, why? lol) Now everything is on my desk and I have to get it done before I can continue scrapbooking.

Thought it was time to update and now I am downloading some pictures of K-bear, will upload them for printing and I have to go grocery shopping (blech)

What? The end of JUNE?

I can not believe it is the END OF JUNE already!

Where did June go? Where have the past 6 months gone? What has happened to my life?

It has been so busy at work this month. I have to credit the 2 girls that quit and left me their files lol Mostly due to them. I have however earned this as there have been a lot of issues to deal with on the files. Oh well. It is hard to take over things bc you dont know what has been said/done/dealt with so that is part of it. But it is all looking ok now.

I am really working hard at making a Millionaire Agent this year. It is a program we have at work that we have to do a $Million in sales in the year. It is a lot of work but I am hoping to be there. I am almost 1/2 way there. As long as things keep going the way they are, and as busy as I am bc we are 2 agents down, I should do it. If I am only "close" I will be so mad.

This weekend is a "long" weekend. Canada Day is Tuesday. Sucks bc I have to work tomorrow and Monday. Stupid to be open on Monday but what can you do. Oh well - I will have time to make sure stuff is finished for month end.

Going scrapbooking at Embellished on Monday after work though. Kari and I are both not working on Tuesday so that will be fun. Lots of laughs, hopefully get lots done, even if it is DT stuff lol

New glasses

I had an eye appt last Thursday. Today I went out to Taber to the place my friend Ronni works at and got new glasses. I priced them out where I had my appt but they were super high. Ronni and her boss were able to get me a better price with their product so I went out to shop there.

With their help, we picked out some funky brown frames. I am not sure if I am a funky girl or not, but that is what I will live with for 2 years lol They went through a lot of them before we decided. I will post a picture when I get them - hopefully in a couple of weeks :)

Had a K-bear visit

What a great weekend! I was going to go to my parents in Swift to visit this weekend, but instead, they came here to visit. My sister, BIL and Keely came as well. They arrived late Friday night and left today around noon.

It was so awesome to visit, shop, laugh, cuddle the baby! She is getting so big! Mom made supper last night and breakfast this morning. Dad bought a boat up in Nanton for fishing. Wendy, mom and I went shopping all day yesterday and last night (gotta love Superstore being open until 10pm lol). Wendy tried on a ton of clothes and we had a good laugh over most of them.

My friends and I booked a cruise on October 6! SO EXCITED!!! It is going to be a total beach vacation - our ports are Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. We had some tours picked out on GT but they arent showing up on the excursion site when we go to book, so.....we are just going to wing it. I found out that we can take a cab for about $10 pp round trip into town from the pier and we figure we can walk around and check otu the local sights there. On Half Moon we are hoping to go horseback riding in and out of the ocean...but for me, that all depends on my back. They make you sign a waiver and if I am not up to par, they wont allow me on. Nassau, we are doing a Pirate/city tour and then we are going to do the Gardens and animal park on our own. Most of the time is just going to be kicking back and relaxing and veggin' for the week.

I havent done a lot today. My internet, email and cable have been out all day, so I have been doing laundry, watching movies and tidying up after company. Didnt get a lot of sleep this weekend as I was on the couch but it was worth it to have everyone visit. I will probably head to bed early tonight.

Funny how life goes...

I wrote yesterday that I was pondering the new blog for multi photo layouts and today, the old one is up! Yipeeee! I am so excited!!!

AND I bought a custom made chipboard album with IRELAND as my word. I think I will do up a little album for my friend who travels with me. Good times. Should be here in 2-3 weeks cuz it is a custom order. Should have ordered it last week when it was $1 cheaper hahaha oh well. I also have another on order from another company that says KEELY. I am going to do an album for Wendy.

Work is insane. Another girl quit last week. Thatmakes 2 in the last month. Lots of covering of shifts, going over files, checking to make sure everything is correct....you know how it goes. Yup, I AM the team now. hahaha or atleast it feels that way.

Still havent decided if I am going home on the 14th to see Keely-bear as mom and dad are going to Donwell for the blessing of the graves and I know that is super important to her. I told her not to worry about me. I can grab the key from Wendys and then we can meet up in Medicine Hat at a later day. It is all good :) or they can come and visit me (hehehe)

Off to bed.........have been super tired lately and feel like I am not getting enough sleep....scary bc I am getting about 10 hrs a night! Going to try going to bed a bit later - maybe I am getting too much? ha, is there such a thing? I mean, really.

there used to be this blog that I really enjoyed reading. Well, more like looking at. It was (is) a multiphoto layout blog for scrapbooking. She was awesome and posted layouts with more than 3 photos and lots of double page layouts - which is mostly what I do. She used her own layouts but also had people email theirs to her. I had a few on there.

She went on "vacation" in January and isnt back yet. I miss looking at the inspiration that she offered. I was thinking that I should start one. I wonder if anyone would read it?

I am pondering this.

What a great weekend!

Woo hoo! A great weekend!

I didnt have to work on Saturday so that was nice to have time to spend with my friends from Calgary. The girls came down on Friday evening to scrapbook at Karis for the weekend.

I didnt get much done scrapbooking wise, but I had a great time just veggin' the weekend away. I did complete my July DT kit though which rocks my socks off. It feels great to be done so early :) It was great to sit and visit and laugh and drink with friends. We went to the liquor store on Friday night to get a few drinks and I found KILKENNY BEER from Ireland!!! I was so excited! I dont think I have ever paid $12 for 4 little beer, but it was nice to have something yummy and brought back some good memories lol

We went out for suppers and lunches, we went to the movies last night, we went driving around and checking out the greenhouse (ok, not me, but the others did lol) and just had a good time.

It was nice to come down and not have to worry about anything.

Off to Vancouver

Going for CLIA (Cruise Line International) training.

I am working towards becoming a cruise specialist. This program is intense. We have 2 years to do 2 cruises, 5 ship inspections (cant be the same you cruised on), and get 50 credits via seminars, courses, videos, etc. Being from landlocked AB it is hard to get in 5 inpections unless you take 5 cruises lol As much as I would love that, the old budget wont allow it.

They are having a Cruise A Thon in Vancouver this week/weekend and I get in my inspections of Holland America, Carnival Cruises, Celebrity and Princess. I also get in CLIA courses and other various seminars and panel discussions on the industry. Should be a grand time.

I am going with another agent I know from Calgary so that is cool. It will be nice to see her again after our Hawaii FAM over a year ago and it will be nice to know someone there too.

Hopefully it isnt too much of a gong show - we dont have any paperwork. I emailed them yesterday and they said just show up with your confirmation email...ummm ok show up WHERE? LOL So once we got that all sorted, things are good now.

Oh my goodness!

I *heart* Ireland.
I really really do!
I loved Dublin and our time there. We are both so happy that we flew in 2 days early to sight see and spend time before the tour. The tour was so busy and go go go but we loved every single sigh...every single option....every single moment. Oh the memories! I cant wait to download my photos! I wish I had a laptop (hmmm next purchase?) so that i could take it and update you from the trip, but I dont so now I have to burn myphotos to CD and manually upload them one by one here. It will be so worth it once I have a mement to do that! Trust me!

I am off to Vnncouver on Tuesday afternoon for Cruise A Thon. It is a ton of seminars, a ton of ship inspections, a ton of courses all for my cruise specialist. I will be gone for about a week. Looking forward to getting a lot of that done and off my plate of things to finish up at work.

Weighed in today at LA and LOST 2.2lbs while away! I am so happy! I give credit to the MockLinda speed walking course hahaha We did so much walking whenever we could. By day 12 I was just so unmotivated. I was craving veggies and fruit and salads by the 2sd week (wow! That is a change for me as I do not prefer veggies and find them very hard to fit into my meal plans!).

Not too much to tell you without the pictures. Hopefully soon I will get them downloaded and can tell you all about it. Just wanted to let you know I made it home safe and sound and will be away again next week. Ahhh good times!

So much to do, so little time!

Oh goodness, where have the past 7 months gone???? I had lots of time to get ready for my trip to Ireland! Now all of a sudden, we leave NEXT FRIDAY!!! I cant wait! I cant. I am so excited! I can hardly sleep with all the sights I want to see in our 2 days in Dublin before our tour. All the sights around the country on our stops. All the photos we will be taking. I have so much to do!

I started LA Weightloss in mid-Jan. I am really liking. I made a goal for 25lb by April 25 (25-4-25 will be the page title if I make it). I am down 21lb. That is so awesome. I can totally tell on most of my shirts (cuz it seems that it all went from the chest area lmao), and all of my capris that I was trying on again this past weekend in the 20-24C weather we had! So now I have to go out and buy new stuff for the trip!!! yah! But I dont want to spend a ton on clothing bc I have so much more to go. So.............this is the 1st time I admitted on here that I joined. But I am so happy I did. The girls there rock (well most of them lol) and the support and help is amazing. I am not doing any of their extra stuff like the bars, drinks, soups, snacks etc. I just dont have the $$$ for that. I eat my own foods, I portion everything and that has been my biggest change. So keeps yoru fingers crossed that I lose those extra 4 lb! I really need that boost. I have been at the same 20-22lb for the past 2 weeks now and just need to kick it into gear.

I have a ton of little things to buy for the the trip too....along with new clothes lol I have started a list. We are gone for 2 weeks so I need to make sure I have everything in place. Not only that, but I get home and am home for 3 days and then turn around and head to Vancouver for a Cruise A Thon conference where I will be working on a lot of ship inpections and CLIA courses for my Cruise specialist program. It is an intense 6 days but oh so worth it.

Then to stress even more, one of the girls at work quit yesterday. YAH for her! She had to look out after #1 - you know how I always say that. We will see as we have a staff meeting again tonight. Should be interesting to see how I am treated bc I had a chat with the manager after the last one......they thought that all of us were going to quit after that one....that is how "great" we are made to feel at these meetings. One can only get shit on so much before they have to move spots to avoid it. Oh well. We will see.

K-bear is doing awesome. Growing! She is now over 9lbs!! YAH K! Cute as ever and being a "brat" as Wendy says. She offered to Fed Ex her to me for a couple of days....lololol I said sure, we could hang out, we get along. Not sure if Fed Ex would appreciate it though lol

I still have some unpacking to do. Dad was here this past weekend and helped me move furniture around in my bedroom, my scrapbook/spare bedroom and the living room. I unpacked some boxes and he fixed my washer that was leaking. Good times lol I guess that was a feat all in itself! I am hoping hoping hoping to have everything unpacked and back to normal before I go so that when I get back it is all done and nothing to worry about.

Survived it.

Now to finish the unpacking.
I have been totally sick this past week so I havent had much energy to unpack anything. I started doing so today after work. It is now after 9pm and I am still trying to get the kitchen done! I really really really need to get my bedroom done so I can find clean clothes lol Enjoying my new place though. It is SO QUIET!!! No band, cant hear the train (which I kinda miss lol).

Just wanted to check in and let you know how things are.

3 weeks and Linda and I will be in DUBLIN!!!! Cant wait! Have so much to do before I go.....buy Euros, buy new clothes (so far, I am down 21 lbs and my goal is to be down 25 by the 25th when we fly out with 70 more to go!), start a sleep pattern so that I dont get jetlag on the way there.

That is how long I have to wait to get to Ireland! We are flying out on April 25 and it cant come soon enough :)

So, I am moving this weekend. I feel like I am 10 paces behind where I am supposed to be. Someone was supposed to come and pick up a bunch of stuff they wanted - havent shown up yet. I sold the bed, now for the dressers lol I have to get through all the kitchen stuff tonight so that I can make a box for mom and dad to take home of all of Tonys duplicate stuff I have here.

I was supposed to buy a washer and dryer from someone. Made the plans for $100 for both and he calls me up yesterday and says ya it is $100 per piece. Ummm so out of my budget so I called mom and dad and they are bringing Wendys 2nd set that they have. Gives them a bit more room. I made an agreement with them for $100 for both, not each so that kinda pissed me off. Oh well I called him today and told him I found other stuff and wont be needing his now that it is double the price.

Went home for Easter. Had a good time visiting with everyone. Didnt do a lot. got to see Keely tons. Got some good photos. Hopefully I will find a day to download them.

Man oh man, its been a bit. Lets update you....

Krista moved out this weekend. She found a bachelor basement suite for the same price. I totally know about the own space thing.

Lindas sister called me this week and I am going to look at their place tomorrow over my lunch. They have a 4 plex around the corner from me. I hope it is in a price range I can afford on my own. I am tired of the roommate thing since the last few havent lasted that long lol

Canadian Scrapbooker emailed me for THREE of my layouts for their June issue! I am so excited! This is my 1st time (but hopefully not last() time being published with them. I sent off my layouts last week via Express Post to make sure they were there on time. I cant wait to see them in print.

Went home last weekend to see Keely-bear. She is still small and squishy. I got a lot of photos of her. Wendy kept dressing her up and commenting that she was just like a doll lol We had fun, and she was patient with us.

Had a good long weekend this weekend doing nothing. I worked on Saturday and then came home to clean and do laundry. I scrapbooked a bit and went to see PS I Love You last night. Today I finished up my DT projects for Embellished Memories March kit (oh they are good!) and that is about all.

Having major issues with the guys next door and their wannabe "band" This is a major reason I can not wait to move. They have been so loud lately that I went over and told them that I am not dealing with this anymore, we had an agreement, they broke it and now the cops can deal with it. I am tired of it. It has been well over an year and nothing has been done. Whatever.

I think that is about all for now. Not too much going on just work and work and work. Linda is coming down next weekend and we are scrapbooking at the store. Cant wait! I hope to get a good chunk of Keely's lullaby album and our San Fran trip.

Oh, 67 days until we head out to Ireland! It is going to go by really quick I am sure. Cant wait! I have been reading and highlighting and everything. Cant wait.

Welcome Keely!

I am so excited! I have a new niece.

Keely was born on Thursday Jan 24 and weighed in at 7lb 4ox. She has been a really good sleeper as of late - like whenever I was visiting at the hospital haha but they are both doing well. She was breech so my sister had to have a Csection. They are still there as she is having issues feeding (a lot to do with all the sleep, but they dont take chances). Because of the section, she has a nice round head too :) and full of hair!!! My sister took the funniest photo of her late one night - it was all sticking straight up and she looked like one of those little troll dolls lol

I cant wait to scrapbook frilly, flowery, blingy pages!

Happy New Year!

I was in bed early last night by 1030pm and was it great to get a good nights sleep. I have been busy this past weekend and last night scanning and stitching layouts from the Bloomin Inn, things I got done this weekend and for the Embellished DT kit which will be released on Jan 4.

I have a bunch of others that I have done from my cruise in June, but I am hoping to submit them to Canadian Scrapbooker, so I have to hold off posting them for a bit :)
